Today is National Intern Day. For many of us, landing an internship was a way to get our foot in the door and launch our careers. For a long time, internships were unpaid, but it seems the tides are shifting.
I began my career as an unpaid #intern. It changed the trajectory of my life, but I had to work 3 part-time jobs to afford it.
