He has won in numerous international competitions including the ADCC World Submission Wrestling Championships and CBJJ Brazilian Championships to name a few, and was named the 2015 Comeback Fighter of the Year by Sherdog Sports Media.

 

Joseline Hernandez rose to prominence through five seasons of Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta after being discovered by music producer Stevie J at a stripper club. Since Love & Hip Hop, Hernandez has gone on to having her own reality TV show and released multiple singles like “Run Me My Money” and “Hate Me Now.”

 

Video blogger Bethany Mota currently engages with more than 10 million subscribers on her YouTube channel. Covering everything from fashion to baking to DIY related content, Mota went on to making an appearance in Dancing with the Stars (season 19) and has traveled around the world to meet fans. As an influencer, she has worked closely with YouTube campaigns and has interviewed President Barack Obama.

 

Antonietta “Toni” Collins is a sports reporter working for ESPN, following the footsteps of her mother, who was also a world-renowned journalist. Collins kicked off her career at Univision in Miami before accepting an offer from CBS to cover sports in St. Petersburg. She joined ESPN in 2013, which eventually led to her current position as the morning panel of SportsCenter.

An acclaimed film director from Mexico, Cuarón has directed pictures including A Little Princess, Y Tu Mama, Gravity, Children of Men, and of course, Harry Potter and the Prizoner of Azkaban. He was given an Oscar and Golden Globe for directing Gravity in 2014, as well as a Golden Lion for his most recent work on Roma (2018).

 

Gael García Bernal is another director and film producer from Mexico. He is recognized for the work he has done for Coco, Desierto, and Y Tu Mamá También. His performance as Rodrigo de Souza in the series Mozart in the Jungle earned him a Golden Globe Award in 2016. Together with actor Diego Luna, Bernal serves as the co-founded Canana Films in Mexico City.

 

Mexican singer and actor Diego Boneta is known for his lead roles in Rock of Ages as Drew Boley and Alex Santiago in Pretty Little Liars. He has appeared in other popular shows including Jane the Virgin and Scream Queens. He is set to appear in the upcoming Terminator 6 movie, which will be released next year.

 

Maya Zapata is a Mexican actress. She has been in Streeters, Three Burials, and Bordertown. She appears mainly in Mexican television series including Run Coyote Run, El Cesar, Kdabra, and Soy Tu Fan. Zapata currently stars in TNT’s El Secreto de Selena as singer Selena Quintanilla, which first aired in September earlier this year.
