J Balvin and Ozuna have received the largest nominations so far with nine each, followed by artists Daddy Yankee, Luis Fonsi, Maluma, Wisin, and more, with the ultimate results based on fan votes and the artists’ social interactions with their fans (as well as sales, airplay, and streaming, which are monitored by Billboard and Nielsen Music).

The Artist of the Year Award, which is the most prestigious honor, features a heavy list of contenders, including Bad Bunny, Banda MS de Sergio Lizárraga, Christian Nodal, Daddy Yankee, J Balvin, Luis Fonsi, Maluma, Nicky Jam, Ozuna and Shakira (who is the only female nominee for this category). For the full list of nominees, click here.

Pitbull, Ludacris, Cardi B, and Becky G are among tomorrow night’s headline performers, while Telemundo recently announced further additional performances by Lele Pons, Gloria Trevi, Anitta, and Nacho.
