Celia Sagastume in SF

This is the season of change– you have seeded your vision for the future in your consciousness, and now greet this present moment with trust in your capacity to manifest your next transition. We end the year with Mercury trine Uranus– the lightning bolt of inspiration catalyzes your vision with hope for the future. Take this moment to cultivate full trust in your power– we will all rise together in the coming year.

Dates to Watch:

  • December 30th, 2019: Mercury trine Uranus
  • January 2nd, 2020: Mercury conjunct Jupiter
  • January 3rd, 2020: Mars Enters Sagittarius

This year will prove to be a game changer for your work, your dedication to your practice, and your personal healing journey, but risk is required in order to shift your base. You have worked very hard to set yourself up for some hard earned changes in how you spend your time and energy, and you will see the seeds you have planted come to fruition this year. There is a big focus on your professional development and career aspirations, but the way you make money and find resources will be much different from what you have previously anticipated.

Don’t be afraid to take a risk now in service of your vision. You may be asked to go on a trip soon, or to take classes in order to refine your skills. Accept this journey as an investment in your aptitude and strength of character. You are finding a new way to sustain your life’s work. This upcoming trip is part of that personal development.

Celebrate your personal development by trying something new this New Years Eve. You want to bring into your life the energy of adventure, optimism, and courage in the face of personal change and transformation. You want to embrace this shift in energy instead of letting it overwhelm your sense of self. Do it by intentionally inviting change in the areas of your life that feel limiting or stagnant.

If you want to renew your relationship with a loved one, celebrate this New Years together in a new setting— go on a short trip or take a scenic walk as the fireworks go off. If you want to move to a new location, envision that new setting as the clock strikes midnight. But most of all, focus on the person you want to become through this change, and write down that intention before the clock strikes midnight. Bring in the new you with intention, so you don’t get dragged into it by accident.

Who you spend your time with is just as important as how you spend it. We are starting a new decade together, and now is the time to be selective about who you invite that new energy in with. Certain people bring out the best in you: the loving, empathic, and curious side of your nature. And certain people bring out the performance: the smiling face, the flashy style, the cold wall of indifference. These are seeds that you plant into your own consciousness about who it is ok to be.

2020 will be about the seeds of conscious narrative you have chosen to develop. Some relationships bring hope and renewal of resources, while others bring devastation and loss of self. Choose you. Choose the version of yourself that is most in tune with your heart, your courage, and your core. Plant that seed now.

You’ve chosen someone to invest your time and energy into— a commitment to a relationship is shaping your attitude, your point of view, your connection to self, and your energetic output. But, have you made the right choice? Do you trust this person with your heart? And will you continue to choose this person come New Year? You reached the end of a long journey last year, only to find that a new direction seems more interesting now— one defined by this new connection.

Some of your friends may think you’re moving too fast, and some others may think you have completely lost it now. You’re not the person they knew before. But the most important question now is— how do you feel in your body? How do you feel in your heart? Has your relationship to self been improved and strengthened by this commitment, or do you find yourself lost in someone else’s projection?

Luck isn’t something just granted to you, luck is something you create. With the clear vision of the goal you are moving towards, and a dedication to clearing up space in your life for the energy needed to manifest, you can actively invite that next big step in your self development. For some of you this will look like a career change— you’ll need to focus on your work ethic now. For some of you this shift will be deeper— you’re redefining who you are, what you’re about, and what you choose to share with the world now. You’ll need to focus on integrity now.

Don’t worry about wether you are ready for the next step in your path— it’s coming towards you, fast, and the best thing you an do at this time is prepare energetically. Don’t dwell on your past mistakes, lost time, or lack of resources. The voices of self-doubt and self-criticism aren’t useful here. Bring in the new year with trust and determination— 2020 will be the year of hard work that pays off with dedication to practice. Commit to yourself.

This is the year that you fall deeply in love— with the world, with life, with your energy, and with the fervent possibility accessible at each and every moment, and most of all, with yourself. It is absolutely possible to find a connection that is energizing, supportive, compassionate, and kind. But in order to find it, you need to establish that level of care and compassion in your relationship to yourself.

You teach others how you want to be treated by modeling it yourself first. You’ll keep inviting people that see you as less than your worth if you keep treating yourself that way. In order to free yourself from the confines of your own mind, you have to speak directly to the negative self-talk at the heart of your energy. Commit to finding how to love yourself best this new years eve. Remember that promise this week as you have the chance to take a risk on someone new. What kind of relationship will you model?

You’re building a strong foundation now, but for what? To stay comfy and coy at home? I don’t think so. While your focus may be on the new home you’re moving into, the renovations you’re making, or the new style you’re bringing to your home decor, the real question right now is— what’s the point? What are you hoping to do once you settle down into the rightenvironment and right situation?

Will you be any more willing to break out of your tired routine and live a life that’s entirely your own, even if it goes totally against what you’ve done before? There will be stress and anguish here until you do something about it. No, the carpets aren’t the real problem. It’s that you’re no longer satisfied with compromising your desire for security and safety.

Don’t get trapped by all the little details of every single step you plan to take in the future.  There seems to be a great many things that need figuring out right now— and plenty of pressure to get it done in this very moment. But the start of this year is not going to be the time for you to have every single detail of your life planned out. And the more you worry about whether you’re moving in the right direction, the less you actually get done.

So, stop paralyzing yourself with the possibilities and consequences of each action or inaction taken at this time. You need to take the pressure off and focus on the bigger problem. Are you taking steps towards what you want or are you simply moving away from what you don’t want?

We’re gonna start the new year off running, Sagittarius, as you’ve got a lot of catching up to do now. Get your financial life in order—what are all the details you’ve been putting off because you’ve been busy with other, bigger, problems? They will all start to catch up to you now as the New Year rolls in so stay ahead of the game.

Make a plan to pay off your credit cards, get your student loan payments down to the minimum, and figure out how you’re going to get your taxes done. You want to feel in control of the situation so there are no surprises later on. Spend the New Year doing something fun, yet tactful. Sometimes you need to apply restraint so you can pool all your resources together for a bigger jump later on.

It’s really easy to feel isolated right now, even if you’re surrounded by people at a huge party on New Years eve night. I would go for the more intimate approach with friends you love over trying to go BIG with a group of strangers you won’t remember later. This doesn’t mean you can’t go out and go hard if that’s what you’re feeling, but make sure you have a crew or a friend you can count on as the night goes down.

The big changes you’ve made in the last year mean that you find yourself in a new place— sometimes literally, and sometimes energetically. You’re doing a lot of heart healing right now, and this can be a lonely journey. Don’t let your house grow cold. Call in the power of your community and loved ones to remind you that you are here, you are loved, and you are cherished. Success can be a lonely peak unless you share it with those you love.

As one door closes, another door opens— but are you ready to step through? This time marks the end of a cycle in your life and the beginning of a new one. You have completed all the tasks, training, and lessons that you started 12 years ago, in 2008. Think back on that time— what did you start then? School, a career path, a relationship?

Now is the time to renew and look to the future, by making sure you finish this cycle with care. Doors need to be closed now, but you can do so softly with a kiss, or forcefully, with a slam. It’s true that you’re done participating in certain patterns, but make sure you shut them down with care. This will ensure you call in vibrant new energy.

Sometimes it feels like your dreams are too big for this small space of Earth you have been given, and sometimes it feels like the pressure of realizing how connected you are to others makes any action too heavy. And yet, the power in every choice and action you take is dependent on the compassion you are able to cultivate— for others, as well as yourself.

The true power in your life right now lies not in what you are able to achieve but in how you are able to share your achievements with others. You are inextricably connected to those around you— your thoughts are their thoughts, and their thoughts are your thoughts. Invest in clarity, health, and heart now. Bring more of what you want to see into the world by practicing it. Share a vision of hope and watch it inspire others to action. You are vastly more powerful than you think.
