What’s Next for ‘Narcos’ and ‘GOT’ Star Pedro Pascal?
Oberyn Martell may be long dead, but actor Pedro Pascal‘s career is still very much alive — and thriving.
We’ve seen Oberyn get obliterated in the face in Game of Thrones, and we’ve witnessed Javier Peña’s badass detective skills in Narcos. Pascal also landed minor roles last year in Kingsman: The Golden Circle and the Oscar-nominated film If Beale Street Could Talk. This year, he’s starred in Netflix’s Triple Frontier and just wrapped up filming for the upcoming sequel Wonder Woman 1984, where his character has still yet to be revealed (I’m hoping he’s either Cheetah’s sidekick or Diana’s love interest, because RIP Steve Trevor).
If you think that’s it for our man Pascal, though, you’re wrong. Star Wars fans, brace yourselves: according to Variety, Pascal has signed on for a role in The Mandalorian, a new Star Wars TV series spearheaded by Disney. It’s part of the many projects set to air on Disney’s “Disney+” streaming platform, with plots and all written by director and executive producer Jon Favreau.
And hold your horses (or lightsabers) again, because Disney is recasting Diego Luna to reprise his role as Cassian Andor for a prequel series to Rogue One. Cool, right?
