Support Immigrant Rights at a Selena Tribute Concert

Selena for Sanctuary, now a three-year tradition organized by artist manager and activist Doris Muñoz, is a free al aire libre concierto, dedicated to supporting the immigrant community and celebrating one of our icons, Selena.

This year the pari is set to take New York’s SummerStage and Colombian-American singer, Kali Uchis will headline. All donations will be directed towards the event’s mission to assist immigrants on a path to citizenship.

And you won’t just see Kali. Other artists include: Cuco, an ascendant Chicano bedroom pop star; Ambar Lucid, an 18-year-old Dominican and Mexican-American singer-songwriter from New Jersey; Principe Q, a DJ and producer who spins R&B, hip-hop, dancehall, kuduro, and dembow; and the Santuario House Band, led by music director Adrian Quesada.

It’s all going down Sunday, August 18, 2019 at 8:00 pm – 10:00 pm (Doors open 7:00 pm) at SummerStage, Central Park, Rumsey Playfield, Manhattan, 10021. Do not miss it!
