#SomosNarcissus? The New Museum of Selfies Says We Just Might Be…

Oscars selfie with then host, Ellen Degeneres

L.A.’s newest kid on the block is the fun, and extremely relevant, “Museum of Selfies.” If you find yourself wondering down Hollywood Blvd., we suggest you make a quick stop at this pop up shot of history and good lighting – it’s a selfie museum, of course the lighting is going to be good.

Unlike other pop up museums though, this one actually tries to stick with the “museum” part. Throughout your visit, you will see history about selfies, selfie themed art from around the world and most importantly, staged spaces to recreate selfie disasters…my favorite.

Even though I’m not a selfie enthusiast, I had a blast there. It seems this museum can bring out the selfie queen in everyone. So if you’re planning a trip to the City of Angels, this can be a cool activity to add to your trip. No worries, solo adventures are cool too you know, but hurry. The museum is only scheduled to be open for the next 3-4 months.

Oh, and no need to bring your selfie stick. You’ll get your personal one at check-in, so work on that head tilt and slay queen
