Social Media: Recent Trends
I can spend endless hours on social media procrastinating, which is why I consider myself to be a social media connoisseur. With that self-appointed title, I want to bring you the most recent trends I have seen online.
Instagram Private Meme Accounts.
I think I speak for everyone when I say that this is the most obnoxious but necessary thing on social media. We all follow at least one of these types of accounts because we’ve received them via DM, and have texted our friends “unavailable boo.”
We’re guilty AF, but totally down.

I have no idea how this became a thing but I am so here for it. The web is full of plenty examples ranging from Game of Thrones, RuPaul’s Drag Race and The Avengers. This basically consists of using screenshots from different shows to “spoil” what happens. The catch is, you will never know what they’re talking about if you haven’t seen said show. Here’s an example:
“Get A Job, Stay Away From Her.”
Ever since Demi Lovato left this as a comment on IG years ago, it seems to come back every 6-8 months. If you ask me, this is timeless, and always useful.
