In Your Face: Amazon Launches First Ever Skincare Line

Is there any place Amazon does not lurk? Because they can officially seep into your dermis now.

This week the hegemon known as Amazon launched it’s very own skincare line called, Belei. The unique name, Allure reported, is a mashup of the words: “believe” and “beauty.” Okurrr.

The 12 item collection hopes to provide a full service routine for all skin types. The products, developed and tested never on animals but by famed plastic surgeon Dr. Dhaval Bhanusali, tackle everything from dark spots, to acne to signs of maturation (i.e. wrinkles, girls. Make it spell it out.)

The sleek minimalist packaging and their contents are all non-toxic (no parabens, phthalates or sulfates) and completely recyclable. In addition to the affordable cost, all items priced at less than $40, Amazon is even offering free shipping. As my mother would say: Bueno, bonito y barato.

It’s as if Amazon heard The Wall Street Journal call cult beauty brand, Glossier recently valued at 1.2 billion, a “unicorn” and said, “Hold my beer.”

Look out Weiss. Bezos is comin’ for your bag.
