Daniela Soto-Innes Is the World’s Best Female Chef

“I didn’t know that I wanted to be a chef. I just knew that it was the thing that made me the happiest.”
Sotto-Innes’ recipe for success has a proven track record. Young, hard-working and driven, Daniela immigrated to Texas from Mexico City in 2003 and has trained with the best since age 15.
After sharpening her knives with pros such as Danny Trace, Chris Shepherd and Enrique Olvera, she assisted in the opening of award-winning restaurant, Cosme and joined as Chef de Cuisine in 2014. She won accolades for her work industry-wide, received the James Beard Award for Rising Star Chef in 2016, and opened Atla as an official partner the following year.
Daniela is now being honored by The World’s 50 Best Restaurants as elite Vodka World’s Best Female Chef of 2019. At 28-years-old Sotto-Innes is already wildly accomplished and encourages men and women to never allow age to factor in their success.
