Your 2019 Winter Music Festival Guide

If you think winter music festivals aren’t a thing, think again. Not all that take place late November or December are located in ice-cold areas (but if you want that, too, it’s totally an option), and they’re equally as riveting and exciting as summer festivals like Coachella and Electric Zoo. So if you’re itching for a little craziness over the holidays, check out these big musical events happening around the world this coming winter season.
Rave on Snow
Yeah. The name literally tells it as is: rave on the snow. Experience the latest EDM mixes right in the heart of Alps in Saalbach-Hinterglemm, Austria. With an open stage set up, stunning views of the snow-capped mountains, and at least 200 kilometers worth of slopes to enjoy, it’s a perfect winter wonderland paradise for rave lovers. Rave on Snow will take place December 12-15, 2019.
Holy Ship! Wrecked
Yeah, holy sh**! This all-inclusive resort party takes place in the Dominican Republic for four days in January 2020 from the 22nd to the 26th. The headline is already packed with hype: the list includes Diplo, Tokimonsta, Claude Vonstroke, Jai Wolf, and many, many more. For those that are all about the beach life, cocktails, and endless vibing, this is the winter music extravaganza for you.
Snow Globe Music Festival
How can you say no to Vince Staples, Louis the Child, E-40, Superduperkyle, and Skrillex? You can find all of them performing at the Snow Globe Music Festival in South Lake Tahoe, California from December 29th to the 31st. 3-Day General Admission and VIP passes are already on sale starting at $199 and $399 respectively.
Contact Winter Music Festival
Get out of U.S. territory and spice it up north in Vancouver at the Contact Winter Music Festival! This year’s lineup includes Tiesto, Major Lazer, Kaskade, Fisher, Rezz, and more. The festival isn’t in an ordinary one because it actually takes place in the old Olympics stadium. Wanna feel like a champ? This is the place to go.
