US Women’s Soccer Killing the Competition, But Not Getting Paid

The US women’s national soccer team is under fire for celebrating their success after a 13-0 win over Thailand. The public backlash isn’t the only discrimination the team is combatting. In fact, the most important match they face is against the federation for equal pay.

Without the same promotional support as the men, the 2015 Women’s World Cup was the most watched soccer game in our country’s history. The men didn’t even qualify for the tournament this year. And yet the women do not earn nearly as much as they do.

Listen in as the hosts of ABC’s ‘The View” break down the gross inequities these female champions have brought to light. We’re truly inspired by their work ethic, talent and conviction. Go USA!

I think it’s bullshit what the women have to to go through.
I’m for truly equal pay , treatment , & respect . The womens team is much more watchable, and far more successful and deserve more pay than the worthless unwatchable men’s team . They develop
Young talent so well & I wish to support them and offer them good luck & hope you win big
