Jupiter Goes Direct in Sagittarius!

After months of Jupiter in Retrograde (since April of this year, to be exact), we have this planet moving forward once again!
When a planet is said to be retrograde, it means it’s moving backwards in the sky, from out point of view. The reason for this is easily explained in this video (even though this is for Mercury, all planets move in similar fashion). When a planet is retrograde, the function it represents is slowed down, limited, and literally retrograded.
Jupiter represents the expansive optimism and encouragement we receive from our connection with the divine. When this planet goes retrograde, we have a pause in developments in our career, work, and creative endeavors. This is felt by everyone, though it heavily affected Sagittarius this year because: 1) Jupiter is in Sagittarius, and 2) Jupiter rules Sagittarius.
But, coming soon, we’ll have Jupiter moving forward again, and ready to push your visions to fruition.
